Draco

The most striking and spectacular of all the botanical species of Socotra is the Draco, or dragon's blood tree.

Legend has it that it was born from the blood shed in the battle between an elephant and a dragon, today we know that its inner resin turns red on contact with air, but isn't it magical to believe in legends? 

In our garments we revive the legend with colors ranging from fuscia to maroon and with prints inspired by the landscapes of Socotra.

The ancient Greeks believed that in the mountains of Socotra, the phoenix built its nest with oak branches, tuberose, cinnamon and mira. When it was finished, the bird died and three days later was reborn stronger, wiser and more radiant. This story has inspired us to use natural and elastic fabrics, printed with flowers and vegetable borders in soft and luminous colors.
