What fabrics do we use?
Aloe Modal
This fabric made from plants and fruits is a sustainable and innovative alternative. This plant-based fabric offers a sustainable alternative, very soft, cool and light.
Ecovero viscose
Star fabric of the collection. Obtained from certified renewable sources and sustainable production processes. Soft, lightweight and breathable.
Bamboo viscose
Natural, eco-friendly, silky, lightweight and breathable fabric. Highly durable, bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world and an extraordinary sustainable resource.
Corn fiber
A very soft and versatile fabric, this fiber not only provides comfort but also effectively manages skin moisture, is UV resistant and hypoallergenic.
Organic cotton
GOTS-certified stars the pieces of the Natural capsule. Toxic-free and hypoallergenic, it offers a comfortable and environmentally friendly option.
Recycled plastic
The sunglasses collection is made with this material. Plastic comes from the ocean and we give it a second chance, preventing it from returning to the water.
Packaging
Sustainable and recycled packaging has become an essential practice for Surkana, which always seeks to reduce its environmental impact.
As such, it is essential that the materials used to protect the garments during shipping are recycled and recyclable. In this way, we ensure that the delivery process is as sustainable as possible.
Stores
In our stores, we use bags made from recycled and environmentally friendly paper certified with FSC sustainable forest management.
In addition, the boxes in which products are shipped are also made from FSC materials, thus contributing to the responsible management of natural resources and reducing the ecological footprint in the supply chain.
We are aware that there is still a long way to sustainability, but we are committed to becoming more and more environmentally responsible. We contribute to sustainability as much as possible and work to constantly improve in all aspects.
