Surkana is born in 2001 as a result of travels, mixtures and a global inspiration. The experiences guide our steps thinking about how the most important thing is the path we walk and not the destination. We believe that the differences are not obstacles to overcome but something special to share. Ethnicity, multiculture, light, spirituality, travel, people, experiences, color ..., all is part of Surkana.

We dress women with young and cheerful souls, who enjoy the energy of our brand. Our personality becomes the reflection of what we are. We dress women who love a freedom that can be experienced at any point of their lives. Women who find in Surkana a way to share their personality with the world.

Do you still see the world in black and white?

The design process in Surkana starts at our office in Barcelone, located at Poblenou the quarter known for its design and fashion companies. From our office’s windows we have a wonderful view of the city. It inspires us and defines our spirit, Mediterranean and Cosmopolitan like Barcelone, that is part of our designs.

We don’t follow yearly trends, but we keep the best of every season to créate garments that are special and different.

The first step is the search of inspiration. Places, trends, smells, tastes, experiences, travels… everything works to find the spark that transform Surkana’s garments into something unique and special.

Surkana’s design team creates the print of the garment and applies it to the most fetching patterns while using comfortable fabrics, nice colors, etc. In short, their goal is to be able to produce clothes that are beautiful, comfortable and will make you feel great.

After receiving the prototypes starts the fitting. During this process the clothes are tested on a person and the needed adjustments to create a perfect pattern.

After receiving the last test and once the quality is verified, the garment becomes part officially of the collection you will find at any of our shops.
